Back to the Stone Age

In the Telkom Shop at Mountain Mill Mall everything was shining, the counters, the floors, and even the teeth of sales agents. The latter I discovered when Yolanda smiled at me politely, saying, "We are sorry. The last router was given away to a client this morning. We are out of stock."

This means that the school is stranded without internet for at least another week. Already at this stage it seems that the absence of our connection to the web is starting to take its toll on usual school activities.

One example thereof is that the admin office is unable to receive important e-mails. The headmaster has already organised that urgent mail be sent via fax.

Back to the Stone Age...
