Skool Sport verbeter

Nou ja as alle leerders so oor hul akedemie(skoolwerk) voel sal Ashton sek.skool sekerlik hoogtes haal.

Thanks to brother Ferman and friends

Many people come to the school and give the word of God to all the school children, but they leave the children just like that. These children need support after hearing the word of God.

I would like to thank brother Ferman and his friends for being able to help our children and to keep them on the right path. It is an honour to have you on our school and for getting to know all of you. It’s the end of the exams this week and still you come and help our children, not many would do that. I believe that God send you to this school to make a difference in the learners life’s.

I hope that God will bless and lead you throughout this journey with praise and worship.

BE BLESSED!

"The Idols" -- Show us yourself!

Taking part in the idols is one of the best things that I as a learner can do. Being able to explore myself and my talent is one of the best things that God made possible. Also being in a school that gives a learner a chance to bring out their talents, is rather good than being in a boring school.

If any leaner wants to take part in the idols, they are free to come and enter with or without a partner.

Showing your talents to the world and the children will make it easier for them to get to know you better. Your talents can also provide a future for you, if you want to follow your dream.

So come and become part of this challenge, if you’re not scared!!!

Good luck & God bless,

Waardeer onderwysers

Why UCSA (VCSV)?

My first day at VCSV was very powerful. I’m happy there and I will keep going there. Miss Scheepers leads us to the good things and I enjoy it. God died for us, His body was hurt so badly, He did it for us to make our dreams come true.

God can do so many things that we must appreciate. There are people in life who don’t believe in God. Wake up people, the world is in a huge mess, can’t u see it? We can make a difference in life. If we won’t, our world will fall apart. Give your heart to God so that he can change your lives. We can do it – every one can. He doesn’t write people off.

All I can say is, come to VCSV, please, you won’t regret it.God loves us more than you realise. I don’t know how people can live without God. He lets us stand up in the morning. He is our Saviour!

Guess who's gonna win?

Being part of the Idols of Ashton secondary school is a great experience.

Last year I’ve got 2nd place and I’m proud of myself!! I never thought I would make it that far.

It was good to show my talent to the whole school.

This year I’m gonna do better than before, by practising more, getting backtracks so that it can sound more musical and beautiful.

I’m also gonna dress up a little bit. Ya, that’s about it.

I would love you to support me and motivate me please!!

Thank u very much!!!

Respecting your school rules

Being at our school means taking responsibility for your own actions and looking after yourself. Every home, work place, shops and even schools have rules. Sometimes children in our own school forget what rules they must obey and where to draw the line. Every learner must respect an obey school rules. Sometimes there are a few children that thinks that taking the law into your own hands is kind of cool, but you will never know what kind of actions you will face in the end.

Learners think that when they don’t obey school work it makes them look famous or cool, but it only will make you look bad and it gives your name a bad reputation. Not respecting your school rules has a bad impact on yourself and your school work Everybody will know you by the bad things that you’ve done and not the good things.Because people will see no good in you only the bad. Some learners who think that they are cool in the class want to tell educators how to educate, but they forget that educators are grown-ups and already has a grade in education. So for learners who feels responsible for the above, why don’t you go and get your own grade in education. Then come back to your own school and try to fit in the shoes of the educators that educated you.

If you want your teachers, friends and family to respect you, than you must respect yourself, your school and the rules. Start taking responsibility for your own actions and rights.

Believe, obey and respect Ashton Secondary school.

It is a privilege

Being part of Ashton Secondary feels like your part of a big and happy family. At Ashton Secondary there are the greatest teachers. They always make you feel welcome when attending their classes. They want to give you the best, but they can’t do it without the learners’ co-operation. That’s why we always work together. Understanding, respect and only the best is what we strive for.

It’s been a privilege for me to attend Ashton Secondary with all of these beautiful things around me: educators who have been motivating, supporting and encouraging me and made my school career so far the best thing that can ever happen.
