Half a computer?..

The gloomy predictions about the funds raised during the Valentine's Day disco have come true.

On the one hand, it was not a loss. On the other - we as a school could have done much better.

The total income was only R2030,00. Now judge for yourself: with this sort of money you would only be able to buy, say, half a computer. Or even worse, a one way journey on a big bus to Mosselbay or George.

It is disappointing, to say the least, that in a school of more or less 800 learners (I suppose the same amount of tickets were given to the children) approximately only 135 were sold. This leaves us with a shameful result: it shows us that only 1 out of every 5 learners was interested to make many other interesting sport trips and other events possible for themselves.

If it does not make you think, tell me, and we shall call the ambulance.
