Our athletes returned smiling from Robertson where the annual Zone Athletics challenge was held on Saturday. They managed to show off their talent as follows:

Chaunzy Booysen - u19 - 1st in 100m and 1st in 200m;
Darryl van Eck - u17 - 3d in 100m;
Deannin Pietersen - u19 - 3d in 400m;
Nasly du Toit - 2nd in javelin;
Nahemia Swanepoel - u17 - 3d in 1500m;
Andrè Damons - u17 - 3d in 1500m;
Jason Lekota - u15 - 2nd in puttshot;
Abraham Wagenaar - 3d in 3000m.

If you are not impressed with dry data in this terrific list, just come over to the school and stand in front of, say, Jason Lekota. Reaching way above even the tallest people (even teachers!) in our school, he is sure to leave you decently impressed, and, hm, more humble ;)
