Brian Jaftha, the power teacher

Nobody sees that, and many people on Earth would even die not knowing that. What kind of power makes the world go round?

Some would argue that it’s the force of gravity. To that I would only add that the force of gravity would not exist without God who made it possible.

But there are certainly many things that Brian Jaftha, the Master Teacher, makes possible for our school. On reading the blog article about the ‘dead batteries’, he reacted immediately by offering help.

‘You don’t need to wait for the office to find the money’, he said. ‘I shall buy those batteries myself. What size do you need?’

True to his word, Brian had the gift – a set of new batteries – in his hands first thing in the morning.

The two aircons in the Khanya computer room were alive at last after the remote with the new batteries activated them. And what feeling of relief it is to cool down!
